We are looking for a dedicated Female PE Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Leeds. This part-time position involves delivering mainly girl's PE lessons, as well as some classroom-based personal development sessions.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a PGCE in PE or a related subject.
- Experience teaching PE to secondary-aged students, particularly girls.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage and motivate students both on the field and in the classroom.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality PE lessons for girls, fostering a positive and inclusive environment for all abilities.
- Inspire and motivate students to develop healthy habits, teamwork, and confidence in physical activities.
- Teach personal development sessions in a classroom setting, covering key topics that support student's social and emotional growth.
- Support the school's ethos of promoting well-rounded education and well-being.
