Randstad CPE Facilities Management Team are working with a well-renowned facilities management, who are seeking an experienced, time served joiner to join their fabric engineer team. They are looking for someone with experience working within commercial environments, carrying out all areas of maintenance and minor remedial tasks within existing Facilities Management contracts, this is a full time and permanent opportunity based at various sites across Wakefield.
The working hours for this position are Monday to Friday, 8:00am until 5:00pm.

Main duties will include:
- Carry out pre planned preventative and reactive maintenance on the general building
- Tasks include the repair of doors, windows, plumbing systems, painting and plastering.
- Carry out escorting duties of sub-contractors as and when required
- Control of water testing regimes and upkeep of the water log book.
- Procure materials and equipment to carry out works through the Supervisor or Manager.
- Complete work sheets for works undertaken and obtain authorisation from the Clients representative.
- Advise Client of minor additional works and compile estimates through the Supervisor or Manager.
- Attend call outs/breakdowns, carry out fault diagnosis, repair or advise as required.
- Be available to carry out necessary works outside normal hours with additional remuneration
- Be part of a call out rota
- To ensure the company Health and Safety policy is adhered to.
- To undertake additional duties in line with capabilities as required
Person Specification
- Level 3 Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent
- Ability to provide a clear Enhanced DBS
- Full Clean driving License
- Strong interpersonal skills, both written and vocal
