As an Early Years Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to Early Years children in Reception. You will plan and implement a creative and engaging curriculum, fostering a love for learning and ensuring that each child achieves their full potential. This role is perfect for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to start their teaching journey as the school has a fantastic mentorship programme, as well as various continuous professional development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities of the EYFS Teacher:
- Plan and deliver lessons that meet the national curriculum standards for EYFS
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing regular feedback to pupils and parents
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the wider school community
- Participate in school events and extracurricular activities
- Engage with continuous professional development opportunities to improve teaching practice
Requirements of the EYFS role:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- Experience teaching in Early Years or KS1 is desirable but not essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement
- Ability to inspire and motivate young learners
- An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, or willingness to obtain one
