We are seeking a caring and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our EYFS team. You will play a crucial role in supporting our youngest learners as they embark on their educational journey. This role offers a chance to work alongside dedicated teachers and make a positive impact on the lives of young children.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assisting with activities that promote language development, fine motor skills, and social skills.
- Supporting children during play-based learning experiences.
- Providing encouragement and guidance to help children overcome challenges.
- Setting up learning centers and activities.
- Assisting with classroom routines and transitions.
- Maintaining a safe and clean learning space.
- Attending team meetings to discuss individual student progress and support plans.
- Sharing observations and insights with colleagues to inform lesson planning and interventions.
- Communicating effectively with parents/carers to keep them informed about their child's progress.
Requirements:
- Have a genuine passion for working with young children and a strong desire to make a positive impact.
- Should have experience working with children in an educational setting, ideally within an EYFS environment.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to build rapport with children and create a nurturing environment.
- Are patient, understanding, and possess a strong ability to adapt your approach to meet individual needs.
- Are a team player and enjoy collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
- Are reliable, dependable, and committed to providing high-quality care.
