The Role:
We seek an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant with experience in SEN to join our team. The successful candidate will support the classroom teacher in creating a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging and inclusive early years education activities.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to children with SEN, helping them to achieve their full potential.
- Support the social and emotional development of all pupils.
- Work closely with the class teacher to monitor and record each child's progress.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children in early years settings, specifically with SEN.
- Ideally Level 2-3 qualified in childcare or a related field, but strong relevant experience will be considered.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A caring, patient, and adaptable approach.
- Commitment to working Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 15:30. We are open to candidates available for a minimum of 3 days per week, but cannot accommodate flexible timings.
