The Executive Administrative Assistant will report directly to the Executive Director and the Director of Strategy and Communications and will be in charge of performing a broad range of administrative duties focused on enabling the efficiency and effectiveness of the leadership team.
This role also will have the responsibility of managing their social media platforms and internal communications.

Responsibilities
● Proactively support the leadership team to assist in their productivity. Anticipate issues and initiate appropriate action to ensure the most effective use of their time
● Undertake administrative activities and projects that require confidentiality, discretion, and independent judgment
● Manage leadership team’s calendars, including organizing meetings
● Ensure leadership team has all necessary information for meetings, i.e., synthesize and prepare relevant documentation, coordinate agenda items, etc
● Help coordinate travel arrangements and manage expense reports for the directors
● Draft, review, make edits to and format presentations and documents for the team
● General administrative support including telephone screening, printing, copying, and responding to routine inquiries
● Manage internal communication and social media posts and calendar
Qualifications
● Passionate about empowering the English-speaking Black families in Montreal and equipping them with the tools to navigate health and social services
● Compassionate and dedicated professional with a deep commitment to improving the well-being of others
● Possess professional or lived experience that gives you a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by this community What you need to succeed
● 2- 3 years experience supporting an Executive Director
● DEC required or equivalent experience
● Must be able to set priorities and work independently
● Demonstrated ability to effectively meet deadlines and operate in a complex environment
● Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, comfortable in French
● Extremely detail-oriented and organized
● Experience with social media platforms
● A good team player with ability to interact effectively with executives and employees at all levels
● Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and pride in your work
