Our client is a member-driven organization who is looking for a proactive and strategic Events Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with corporate stakeholders, proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, and a passion for traveling. You will enjoy a range of tasks including budgeting, travel arranging, registration, and marketing.

Responsibilities
What YOU will be doing as the Events Manager:
• Collaborate with the Director of Events to plan and execute in-person and virtual conferences, including annual team offsites, while managing timelines and stakeholder communication.
• Develop and maintain event budgets, reconcile expenses, conduct risk assessments, and implement changes to enhance event value for members and the organization.
• Partner with Communications and Marketing departments to create event branding, develop strategic marketing plans, and produce promotional materials to attract attendees.
• Manage event logistics through platforms like CVENT and Zoom, oversee registration processes, and handle member inquiries and administrative tasks.
• Lead committees to align event strategies with attendee needs, collaborate with other departments for targeted marketing efforts.
• Supervise on-site event execution, including staff training, venue management, and contract negotiations with vendors to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications
What YOU bring to the table:
• 5+ years experience in event management, coordination, or execution.
• Strong experience with event registration platforms (Cvent, Salesforce) and marketing automation tools (Pardot).
• Background in associations, financial services, or private equity is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills; adept at handling multiple priorities.
• Resourceful problem-solver; anticipates future challenges and mitigates risks.
• Proven project management skills with ability to meet strict deadlines in fast-paced environments.
• Expertise in process design for consistent execution and scalability.
• Detail-oriented and customer-focused.
• Collaborative team player with experience working across global teams.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, especially with senior executives.
• Driven, energetic, and results-oriented.
• Valid passport and the ability to travel internationally required.
Education:
• Post-secondary education in event management is an asset.
