Are you a seasoned Engineering Project Manager passionate about delivering complex power generation projects? Join a dynamic team providing innovative turnkey solutions across mining, energy, construction, medical, and automotive sectors in Australia and internationally. Lead engineering projects, drive innovation, and deliver outstanding results for diverse clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead and manage the Power Generation projects engineering team.
- Drive project management excellence and foster a culture of safety and professionalism.
- Collaborate with sales teams to align project execution with strategic goals.
Project Management Execution:
- Oversee the delivery of projects to budget, time line, and specification requirements.
- Ensure technical compliance with standards and customer satisfaction.
- Manage project reporting, risk assessment, and milestone tracking.
- Conduct project close-out reviews and document lessons learned.
Engineering & Customisation Support:
- Provide technical leadership on electrical and mechanical customisation's for power generation products.
- Oversee component selection, design, and technical documentation.
- Validate products and ensure compliance with Australian standards.
ISO 9001 & Process Improvement:
- Align activities with ISO 9001 systems and participate in process improvement initiatives.
- Maintain up-to-date engineering processes and support audit activities.
Client & Vendor Relationships:
- Manage client relationships to understand requirements and ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors for timely delivery of goods and services.
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field).
- 8+ years of project management experience, focusing on power generation or industrial projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of power generation systems and regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects from concept to completion.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Registration as NER and RPEQ (Desirable).
- MUST HAVE FULL WORKING RIGHTS IN AUSTRALIA,
