What you will be doing !

Assist the engineering team in the design and implementation of power distribution systems, including switchgear, transformers, and monitoring systems.
Support other Engineers in ensuring that all designs meet customer requirements and relevant standards.
Collaborate with Interface- and System engineers to ensure smooth project execution.
Serve as a point of contact for technical inquiries, coordinating between design teams and stakeholders.
Participate in site visits and factory meetings to gain practical insights and support project supervision.

What you will be doing !

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Technology / Electronics or relevant to that
- 4+ years of experience in substation design or with substation equipment (e.g., transformers, switchgear, relays, etc.).
- Practical and theoretical experience with low and medium voltage distributors, transformers, short-circuit and selectivity calculations and standards such as IEC 61439
- Strong communication skills (English and Dutch is a plus)
- Flexible and willing to travel on a regular basis for short business trips
You will be seconded for one year via Yacht, with the possibility of being considered for a permanent position at Siemens after this year
