Responsibilities
Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and adjust machines to meet production requirements, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with specifications.
Maintenance: Perform routine machine maintenance, replace tools as needed, and promptly address any malfunctions to minimize downtime.
Quality Assurance: Inspect parts using precision tools like calipers, record tolerances, and address quality issues by escalating to supervisors if necessary.
Material Handling: Lift, load, and position materials (12’ to 16’ bars) on machines and transport finished products to the shipping area with proper labeling.
Workplace Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization around machines, clear chips from compartments, and follow safety protocols to ensure a safe environment.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets, improve workflow, and address production challenges effectively.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety procedures, use protective equipment, and participate in team discussions to enhance safety and production processes.
Qualifications
Education: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in machine operation, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with precision tools such as calipers and a basic understanding of machine setup and adjustments.
Communication Skills: Proficient in verbal and written English for clear documentation and effective teamwork.
Physical Ability: Capable of lifting heavy materials up to 50lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in a fast-paced setting.
Safety Awareness: Must adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
