Responsibilities
-Empower the team with your expertise by providing comprehensive technical training and support during product releases.
-Conduct thorough inspections and testing of all Proto builds, documenting any anomalies or issues for swift resolution.
-Perform failure analysis and repair tasks as needed to ensure the highest quality standards.
-Collaborate closely with Test Engineers and Software Programmers to ensure smooth integration and successful new product launches.
-Take charge of mechanical and electrical assembly of PCB assemblies during the critical NPI phase.
-Oversee final assembly and shipping of products, ensuring that everything is delivered to spec and on time.
-Handle materials with care, ensuring efficient flow throughout the production process.
-Proactively identify and implement process improvements, streamlining operations and boosting productivity.
Qualifications
-2-5 years of hands-on experience as an NPI Technician (or in a similar role) within a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
-Strong technical acumen with the ability to read and interpret schematics and test data to troubleshoot effectively.
-Proficient with electronic test equipment, including multimeters and other essential diagnostic tools.
-Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly identify root causes and find innovative solutions.
-High level of attention to detail and impeccable documentation practices to ensure accuracy and clarity.
-Able to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.
-Familiarity with manufacturing processes, quality systems, and lean principles, with a passion for continuous improvement.
