Requirements / Qualifications:
Qualification in either of these are preferred but not essential and clients will look at someone who has time served experience.
- NVQ Level 3 in electrical installation
- CIty and guilds level 3 ( 2330 or 2365) + AM2
- City and Guilds 236 Part 1 & 2
- 18th edition - must have
Day to Day Duties:
- Lighting - lamp changes, ballast changes, simmtronic/Phillips lighting
- Emergency light testing
- Power distribution - Checking the boards (RCDs and connections etc)
- Electrical fault-finding
- Small works - new sockets, new lights, new circuits
- PAT Testing
- Control Panel maintenance
- Transformers
- Star Delta Starters
- HV - switching, Shutdowns, Schedules, switchgear
- LV - switching, Shutdowns, Schedules, switchgear
- UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) - visual checks, readings, battery changes
- UPS - Static, Rotary, N+1, Riello UPS .Piller UPS
