This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager to lead a high-performance engineering team and manage key projects within the Electrical Product Design group. In this hands-on role, you will play a crucial part in driving project execution and contributing directly to the company’s growth and success.

Responsibilities
▪ Manage customer requirements by overseeing the development and execution of all aspects of electrical design.
▪ Design and create electrical drawings, starting with concept development, conducting necessary research, and performing required calculations and analysis within the electrical department.
▪ Conduct and document electrical design reviews at key milestones, ensuring proper documentation is available on the PM intranet.
▪ Ensure the accurate storage of electrical engineering specifications and other documents in accordance with engineering procedures and best practices.
▪ Follow the company's Product Development Process, actively participating in launch meetings, design reviews, and other phase meetings to ensure deliverables are met.
▪ Develop employee competencies, encourage cross-training, and provide opportunities for personal and professional growth within the team.
▪ Stay current with industry trends by attending educational programs and reviewing relevant engineering publications to maintain professional and technical knowledge.
▪ Successfully execute assigned projects, ensuring the timely release of long-lead and standard components.
▪ Ensure released designs meet company electrical engineering standards and align with customer Purchase Orders and project-specific requirements.
▪ Maintain accuracy in electrical designs and drawings, ensuring all designs are precise and meet project specifications.
▪ Ensure designs are released on time to meet established release dates and project timelines.
▪ Address issues during project phases, providing support for design, manufacturing, assembly, testing, and warranty periods.
▪ Coordinate field support for service issues, on-site installations, and training to ensure customer satisfaction.
▪ Collaborate with supervisors and co-workers to ensure engineering procedures are followed, and high-quality designs are delivered in line with company goals.
▪ Share knowledge and information related to engineering and other departmental matters to enhance team collaboration.
▪ Communicate job expectations clearly, plan work schedules, and monitor employee performance through coaching, counseling, and discipline when necessary.
▪ Maintain positive and productive relationships with supervisors, co-workers, and other team members to foster a collaborative work environment.
▪ Enforce company and department systems and procedures to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
▪ Provide exceptional customer service, being courteous and helpful when interacting with customers, suppliers, and internal team members.

Qualifications
▪ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
▪ Four years of engineering experience in a capital equipment company, with demonstrated responsibility in management, project management, and design in a senior role.
▪ Advanced computer skills, with proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical (or other advanced design software) and a solid understanding of PLC control systems.
▪ Ability to create electrical concept designs and detailed drawings using the latest CAD programs utilized by the company.
▪ Strong analytical skills, with the ability to solve complex engineering problems effectively and efficiently.
▪ Knowledge and experience working with various electrical control systems.
▪ Solid understanding of company products and manufacturing processes.
