A large federal government department is looking to engage a dynamic, experienced and high performing EL1 Campaigns Manager on a 12 month Non-ongoing Contract.
Duties

Lead the development and implementation of communication strategies and campaigns – including contractors, meetings and strategies.
Manage the development and implementation of evidence-based, comprehensive communication strategies.
Manage content development, including presentations, communication material, website and social media content.
Coordinate and manage events, such as media conferences, events and community outreach programs.
Develop and manage issues/crisis communication plans.
Coordinate cross-departmental communication strategies with Health and other portfolio/government agencies.
Lead a team to deliver communication projects. Supervise and mentor staff.
Manage change effectively, ensuring smooth transitions during organisational or strategic shifts.
Manage a campaign budget, contracts and procurement.
Key Capabilities
Experience operating at the EL1 or equivalent level delivering state or federal government campaigns.
Experience managing campaign budget, contracts and procurement.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated experience mentoring/managing staff.
Proven experience developing and implementing communication plans and strategies.
Requirements
Baseline Security Clearance.
Australian Citizenship.
