We are seeking a dedicated and experienced EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) Engineer to join our client and help them uphold the highest standards of safety and sustainability within our operations.
• Implement Health, Safety & Environment plans and programs and support policies and practices to identify or mitigate hazardous working conditions to meet business needs
• Implement Health, Safety & Environment programs to administer employee/labor health & safety programs in accordance with organization, regulatory, and labor union
• Implement and execute Health, Safety & Environment plans related to taking preliminary samples and measurements of hazardous forces and toxic substances
• Administer key Health, Safety & Environment activities to analyze and identify risks or issues by taking measures to ensure that workplace conditions comply with applicable government regulations and labor union agreements and all required records are prepared and maintained
• Collaborate with the team in removing hazards and protect employees through training, revising work procedures, or requiring use of protective clothing/personal protective equipment
- Professional who applies advanced knowledge typically obtained through advanced education and work experience
- Manages advanced projects and owns processes in a particular area, working independently with limited supervision from manager
- Contributes to process design and improvement
- Impacts own area work, but work product may impact peers in other areas.
- Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex. Problems are resolved by identification of
solutions requiring detailed and specialized knowledge of the job
