Responsibilities
•Oversight of all site crews, including equipment operators, laborers, flaggers, and subcontractors, is required.
•Collaboration with project managers to uphold adherence to budgetary and scheduling guidelines is essential
•Hands-on management and execution of health and safety programs on site is a priority
•Optimizing site productivity by effectively coordinating subcontractor performance, quality, and efficiency
•Establishment of a secure work environment by enforcing strict health, safety, and environmental guidelines, ensuring compliance with legislation and best practices
Qualifications
•4 years experience minimum in managing site operations
•Thorough understanding of earthworks, demolition, reclamation, and underground utilities is preferred
•Proficiency in blueprint reading
•Exceptional time management abilities, prioritizing tasks and resources effectively
•Possession of safety certifications such as fall protection, First Aid, CSTS, etc., is advantageous
•Familiarity with B2W software is considered a bonus.
•Willing to work out of town as required
•Ability to work long hours with some weekends and overtime
•Up-to-date with current City of Calgary Specs
•Must complete a pre-employment drug & alcohol and fit testing
•Class- 5 driver license required
