Look no further! Randstad is currently looking for an Early Years Teacher to join a happy team at one of our trusted partner schools in Crawley. The school has a full-time Early Years teacher role available, starting at the end of October 2023 to cover maternity leave.
This school appreciates the energy and new ideas of Early Career Teachers (ECTs) as well as the knowledge and experience of experienced professionals. They encourage all interested teachers to apply. The school fosters a collaborative and inclusive environment to support professional growth for all teachers. It's a two-form entry school that values teamwork and working closely with other Early Years teachers in their network for planning and pupil development.
Early Years Teacher duties:
- Create engaging lesson plans that suit early years students' individual needs.
- Establish a supportive learning environment that encourages exploration and independence.
- Develop positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
- Use various teaching methods, resources, and assessments to track student progress.
- Offer helpful feedback for student development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan age-appropriate activities and events.
- Attend school and parent meetings when needed.
Early Years Teacher qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- A genuine love for teaching and nurturing young learners.
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Creativity, flexibility, and adaptability.
- Commitment to professional development.
