We are currently recruiting dynamic Early Years Practitioners for ad-hoc, short-term, and long-term positions to support schools in the Thornton -Cleveleys area paying £13-£14 per hour. The ideal candidate would be an encouraging, caring, and interactive practitioner, devoted to developing social and behavioural skills.where you'll play a vital role in shaping the early learning experiences that set the foundation for a lifetime of exploration and discovery. Ad hoc work may include supporting as needed, aiding in class preparation and closure, and covering temporary gaps, supporting any children individually or small groups. For those seeking Long-term commitments , this will require your active participation in supporting the class, small groups and potentially any 1:1 pupils, including collaborative tasks with teachers, resource preparation, the ability to adapt content for your child and effective communication with staff and parents. Wider school contributions such as break/ lunch time support, assemblies and school trips may also be required.
Responsibilities:
- Providing engaging and interactive activities for the children within the toddler room
- Communicating with parents and carers over pupils' progress and participating in departmental meetings, parents' evenings and whole school training events
- Creating inviting activities for the children in your care
- Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean, and conducive to learning and play.

Requirements:
- Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare or Early Years
- Relevant childcare experience
- Enhanced child DBS on a update service or willingness to apply for one
- Good knowledge of EYFS
- Eligibility to work in the UK
