Role and Daily Responsibilities:
As a full-time teacher in the under 2’s room your key responsibilities are to:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and learning experiences for children
- Provide a high standard of education and care in a safe and nurturing environment
- Keep record of children’s experiences at the centre through the use of a learning journal
- Strengthen relationships between preschool and family/whānau
- Provide an inclusive environment through the use of te Māori, tikanga and learn respect for both partners of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
Ideal Candidate:
- ECE or primary teaching qualification (Level 7+) or equivalent
- Current NZ Teacher Registration
- First Aid Certificate (or willingness to to complete a course)
- Must be a NZ citizen or Permanent Resident
