Responsibilities
- Adhere to health, safety, and lockout/tagout regulations.
- Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on production machinery such as fillers, cartoners, and automated equipment.
- Fabricate and repair parts using shop equipment, including welding and lathe operations.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and manage spare parts and materials inventory.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, engineering, safety) to meet KPIs.
Qualifications
- 442a Electrician License required (433a would be an asset)
- PLC troubleshooting + robotics (FANUC)
- Minimum 5 years of machine maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and schematic drawings.
- Ability to fabricate, design, and commission automated equipment.
