Responsibilities
Supervision:
- Manage a team of 8 to 10 people
- Communicate company directives and priorities to team members
- Allocate daily tasks and monitor daily and weekly objectives
- Produce reports and statistics on file management
- Develop and implement strategies to maintain employee motivation and dedication
- Monitor attendance, performance management, policy compliance and all other tasks assigned through the HRIS system.
Disability management:
- Determine short-term disability eligibility
- Implement the right interventions to promote recovery and return to work
- Manage clients during the period of absence and return to work
- Interact with various stakeholders to ensure a complete understanding of the absence and the types of support required to help plan the return to work.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years in a management role and at least 1 year on disability
OR
- Min. 3 years' experience in disability management and experience in a leadership role an asset
- Adaptability and good analytical skills
- Excellent organizational - planning and communication skills
- Good English expression and comprehension
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office suite
