Our client is a leading hospitality company, with well known hotel brands under their management. Based in Singapore, they are hiring a Director of Sales to join their team. This role will place in a position to lead a team of sales managers, associate directors and senior managers to sell for the MICE, social and rooms categories.
about the job
In this role, you will be reporting directly to the hotel's Commercial General Manager:
Your responsibilities include:
- Managing sales funnels - mainly on converting existing leads into real business through negotiation to closing deals.
- Managing up selling and cross-selling opportunities for MICE, Group Rooms and Social Revenues portfolios.
- Managing the entire sales cycle, updating on sales activities, coming up with strategies to prioritise and penetrate accounts to manage and target.
- Managing a sales team, recruiting strong sales people, working with other department heads and communicating with the corporate office.
skills and experience required
- 8+ years of relevant sales experience in the hospitality industry
- Experience with the sales cycle and process
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong team management experience
