Key Responsibilities:
- Establish infrastructure and build robust teams in collaboration with US management for operations and IT.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team to achieve operational and IT excellence.
- Take ownership of the quality and timeliness of delivery of IT operations.
- Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee back-office functions such as finance, HR, and administration.
- Establish tracking tool and performance metrics.
- Work with the US Head of Operations and IT to establish and optimize processes for better service delivery by monitoring feedback and making improvements.
- Develop a team with a reporting structure, ensuring direct reports also coordinate with US managers.
- Establish strategies for talent attraction, retention and development.
- Manage budgets, resources, and timelines.
- Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of IT systems.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives.
- Identify and mitigate operational and IT risks.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Develop and maintain business continuity plans.
- Align with global management strategies.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or related field. MBA preferred.
Location: Pune
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years in operations and/or IT management, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Proven track record of leading high-performing teams.
- Experience of working in a global organization is preferred.
- Strong entrepreneurial background and experience in building new teams.
