This role is responsible for the growth and development of the Financial Institutions business in Japan with focus on the Non-bank Financial Institutions (NBFI). This would entail the development and execution of the FI business strategy in Japan working in close collaboration with local, regional and global product partners. This is a senior coverage role.Applies in depth sector/industry/product knowledge to develop, maintain and grow relationships with prospective and existing clients to stimulate and manage demand for financial products and services offered by the organization. Uses sector/industry/product knowledge to develop financial solutions to originate, structure and execute specific transactions. Acts as central coordinator for client teams in account planning, origination and execution and monitoringefforts for the assigned client portfolio.Job Responsibilities: Business Development and Execution• Providing strong analytical insights on the FI market in Japan and identifying key areas ofopportunity.• Execution of NBFI business strategy in JapanManagement of Internal Processes• Preparation of annual strategy papers and financial sector review.• Hands on management of all KYC processes related to Japan NBFI clients.• Prepare ad-hoc commercial for proposals, and other presentation materials.• Ensure appropriate FM legal documentation (ISDA/CSA/GMRA) are in place.Origination and Relationship• Create, develop and manage relationships with NBFI clients working in closecollaboration with product partners and across sectors.• Deal origination with the focus on generating ROE accretive business for theorganization.• Regular client meetings, calls and follow up on business opportunities, prompt resolutionof client queries in coordination with the relevant product areas and offices.• Monitor and manage client profitability and the achievement of objectives.• Keep detailed client overviews (briefing notes) and ensure accounts plans are up-to-date.• Deepen understanding of clients’ business activities.• Active contribution to Commercial Excellence programmes, VCT planning, CLIC and FSGinitiatives.Risk Acumen, Compliance and KYC• KYC and Non-Financial Risk responsibilities for client portfolio• Strong risk culture mindset (including credit and NFR)
求められる経験
-10+ years of experience in a FO banking role; and
- 5+ years of experience in a FI role.
- Tertiary Degree in a relevant field.
- Hands on experience in establishment and management of credit lines to NBFI.
- Good understanding of core banking products (FM, DCM, TS).
