Responsibilities
At the heart of the position of Director, Corporate Accounting, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability of financial reporting and driving regulatory compliance in a global and dynamic framework. Your expertise will help optimize processes, support organic and external growth, and ensure accounting keeps pace with the rapid innovations and transformations of the SaaS industry.
- Ensure the entire month-end close process while maintaining high standards and ensuring accurate, timely and reliable reporting on financial results.
- Provide ongoing leadership and guidance to the two-person accounting team, including professional development, coaching, and day-to-day supervision of activities.
- Responsible for all corporate accounting, including consolidation of all legal entities
- Responsible for technical issues related to accounting standards
- Ensure that internal control practices surrounding financial reporting and the closing process are defined, implemented and executed
- Manage the annual budget and the balance sheet and cash flow forecasting process
- Act as a key person for accounting, internal control issues and implementation of improvements
- Act as a key person for ERP updates, including requirements development, prioritization, and testing of improvements
- Special projects as needed
Qualifications
- CPA designation is a significant asset
- Proven leadership skills to deliver results
- Ability to work with a positive attitude and in a professional manner
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Have a strong attention to detail
- Possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
