Our client, an innovative, evolving, and fast-paced global supply planning organization, is looking for a dynamic, results-oriented, and collaborative Senior Supply Planner (Direct Imports) to join their expanding team. The Senior Supply Planner (Direct Imports) manages the end-to-end supply chain process for goods imported directly from international suppliers to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery to the US and will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the make-to-order process (FOB / DDP / POELA) to meet retailer order fulfillment requirements.

Responsibilities
*Supply Planning:
Develop and execute supply plans based on demand forecasts and inventory policies.
Ensure timely procurement of goods from international suppliers.
*Logistics and Transportation:
Coordinate international shipping, customs clearance, and transportation logistics to ensure timely delivery.
Work with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics providers to manage import processes.
*Supplier Management:
Maintain relationships with international suppliers and negotiate terms, prices, and delivery schedules.
Monitor supplier performance and address any issues that arise.
*Inventory Management:
Manage inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing costs associated with excess inventory or stockouts.
Implement strategies for efficient warehousing and distribution of imported goods.
*Compliance:
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, import/export laws, and company policies.
Handle documentation and regulatory requirements for international shipments.
* Collaboration:
Work closely with demand planners to align supply plans with demand forecasts.
Coordinate with IT, finance, and other departments to ensure seamless import operations.
Qualifications
Required :
Bachelor’s degree required
2 to 5 years of relevant experience in a supply chain management and analysis role
Ability to develop and improve business processes, evaluate, and analyze financial and operational viability
Fluent in English
Advanced Microsoft Excel/Office skills required, with exceptional modeling skills in Excel
Experience and knowledge of international shipping documentation and letters of credit
Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment
Structured and consistent to maintain the weekly order management process
Demonstrated ability to develop and improve business processes, evaluate, and analyze financial and operational viability
Assets :
Experience at a non-asset-based transportation logistics company preferred
Experience within a consumer goods/retailer organization is an asset
Fluent in Spanish
