who we are looking for
Core Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and propose infrastructure architecture.
- Design and automate infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
- Participate in cross-regional best practices guilds and contribute to knowledge exchange.
- Implement and maintain security tools, processes, and best practices to ensure the security of applications and infrastructure.
- Stay updated with security policies, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulations.
- Provide guidance and training to team members on secure coding practices, threat modeling, and risk management.
- Monitor and analyze security logs, alerts, and reports to identify and respond to potential security incidents.
- Participate in incident response and conduct post-mortem analysis to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Skills Required:
- Solid understanding of cloud architecture principles, technologies, and best practices.
- Experience in implementing and managing monitoring, alerting tools, and vulnerability scanners.
- Proficiency with Azure and its related services such as AppService, AKS, AKV, and Private Networking.
- Familiarity with application containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, GitOps).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools for applications and infrastructure like Azure DevOps, Git, Terraform, and GitHub.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and with stakeholders.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum development processes.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of networking technologies, security protocols, and best practices.
- Strong proficiency in Linux/UNIX system administration, including configuration, optimization, and security.
