Randstad is hiring a DevOps Engineer, for direct integration, in a company located in Marquês de Pombal (Lisbon).

Hybrid work model (4 days at the office, 1 days remote / week).

This professional will have ownership of the company's infrastructure, ensuring the maintenance, scalability, and future. They are looking for someone with expertise in DevOps.

This professional will be the first DevOps and will have the opportunity to later build the DevOps Team.

key responsibilities
- Ownership of existing infrastructure, assessing how systems are interconnected, and ensuring they run correctly.
- Building and managing a CI/CD pipeline, transitioning from manual creation to automated deployment processes.
- Lead the development and improvement of the system monitoring, alerting,and log ingestion platforms (such as ELK).
- Collaborate with the development team to create scalable solutions that support the complexity of the services.
- Building a DevOps team over the long term, aligned with the evolution of the engineering needs.
skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Informatics Engineering or similar (mandatory requirement).
- More than 3 years of professional experience as DevOps Engineer (mandatory requirement).
- Experience with AWS services, including S3, ECS (autoscaling with Fargate, clusters), and CI/CD pipelines (CodeDeploy, CodeBuild) - mandatory requirement experience with AWS and CI/CD.
- Knowledge of networks (load balancers, VPCs) and IaC (Terraform or similar) - important but not mandatory.
- Interested in infrastructure and enjoys being hands-on.
- System monitoring and metrics.
- Good communication in English (B2 intermediate level is a mandatory requirement).
