Randstad is working with a well-known financial institution that is looking for a Deskside Support Engineer to join the business.

... - Provide deskside support for hardware, software, and network issues
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and other hardware
- Manage user accounts in M365, LAN and mobile devices, etc.
- Collaborate with the rest of the IT team to resolve technical problems and escalate issues when necessary
- Set up new workstations and assist with software installations for existing/new employees
- Maintain accurate records of support tickets and resolutions
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures
skills & experiences required.
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline
- 3-5 years of experience in deskside support or relevant roles and at least 1 year for banking & financial services industry
- Strong understanding of hardware (such as laptops and mobile devices) and software installation
- Proficiency in supporting Microsoft Windows configuration, desktop administration, and Microsoft 365.
- Solid experience in operating systems like Windows, iOS, and Android
- Good communication skills and manner; as well as good problem-solving skills
- Proficient in spoken and written both Cantonese and English is a must
- Open-minded and willing to learn and pick up new technologies in the financial services industry
