About the role

Plan, execute, and oversee ETL processes, data modeling, and integration efforts. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility by implementing rigorous data governance practices.
Conduct comprehensive analysis of company data to identify trends, reveal hidden patterns, and provide actionable insights to inform business strategies and decisions.
Collaborate closely with various departments to understand their data needs and challenges, offering expert guidance and analytics solutions that support both departmental and organizational objectives.
Monitor data pipelines, databases, and analytical operations to ensure their consistent performance, promptly identifying and resolving any data-related issues or performance bottlenecks.
Stay informed on the latest developments and best practices in data engineering, recommending and implementing enhancements to improve data quality, operational efficiency, and overall performance.

Skills and experience required

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Proficient in SQL and at least one programming language (Python, C++, or R) for advanced data analysis and engineering tasks.
Knowledge of snowflake, dexter, AWS environment is ideal
Experienced in pipelines, ETL, and transformation tools.
• Background in a brokerage firm is an advantage.
