- Design and deliver comprehensive training modules on data center infrastructure, covering topics such as electrical systems, cooling systems, and control systems.
- Conduct practical, hands-on training sessions focused on data center operations, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Assess student progress through evaluations and offer guidance to ensure they develop proficiency in essential skills.
- Partner with industry professionals to regularly update and enhance the training curriculum.
- Mentor and support students in preparation for successful careers within the data center industry.
skills/requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in the data center industry, with an emphasis on infrastructure management and operations.
- Proven teaching experience, ideally at the university level or in a professional training environment.
- Practical, hands-on experience with essential data center equipment, including UPS systems, HVAC systems, diesel generators, and Building Management Systems (BMS).
- HRDC accreditation as a trainer is an added advantage.
