・Customer issue support and resolution:・Act as the first response for embedded system issues found during development at the customer’s location, lead the customer communications as representing *** Software and Systems-Requirement team・Work closely with customer and provide technical support in a timely manner・Appropriate escalation of issues to customers and/or *** managements to resolve customer issues・Participate in audio system bench testing at customer’s site or other third party testing facility, representing the amplifier product.・Coordination of multiple *** departments in assembling and gaining buy-in for responses to customer questionsSupport of inspection and verification testing activities at Japan OEM or at other tier-1 suppliers as needed, such as bench or vehicle testing of amps・Manage technical specification discussions with customers, coordinate support for activities requested from customers such as “Working Group” and “Cross-Check”, and/or others as needed.・Provide supervisory support for Software and Systems-Requirement Engineering team in Japan.・Product development support:・Understand customer and internal requirements and specifications for amplifier projects, deploy proper understanding of those specs to internal organizations.・Lead the communications with customer regarding DFMEA/DRBFM・Lead the communication of related design documentation between the customer and ***.・As necessary, track engineering change requests or other official documents from customer.
求められる経験
What You Need
・Language: Native Japanese, fluent English (written & verbal) required
・Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
・Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Automotive Electronic Software and/or Systems Engineering, or non-automotive (Audio, similar electronics products, or integrated circuit components preferred) Software, Systems Engineering, Problem solving skills are plus
What is Nice to Have
・5+ years of microcontroller embedded software development.
・5+ years of programming in C or another structured language.
・Experience developing and debugging software in a real-time, embedded, multiprocessor, multi-interface environment.
・Experienced working with vehicle networking (CAN, MOST, etc) and diagnostics (UDS, KWP2000).
・Working knowledge of software development tools (debugger。ヲs, emulators, compilers, etc).
・Ability to read schematics and debug analog and digital hardware.
・Able to use oscilloscope and logic analyzer for troubleshooting.
・Working knowledge of embedded operating systems.
・Working knowledge of software development processes and process models such as CMMI or ASPICE.
・Creative problem-solver capable of creating and reproducing complex software defects.
・Capable project management and time management skills.
・Experienced interfacing directly to Japanese Automotive OEM’s.
・Exemplary verbal and written communication skills.
・TS16949 and other quality tools (PPAP,APQP,MSA,SPC,DFMEA) and or other ・Automotive specific quality tools (DRBFM, detail FTA) familiarity desired.
・Creation of 8D, A3, or other issue countermeasure quality document desired.
