Responsibilities
Act as the main point of contact for customers and creating the Purchase Orders
- Maintain and communicate customer delivery schedules and communicate any changes as necessary
- Confirm and check the accuracy of Purchase Orders in the system
- Issue updates on manufacturing schedules to ensure that products can be produced as required
- Update customer with the forecast and status of products that are being ordered
- Follow all necessary steps to ensure accuracy and safety
- Communicate with customers over the phone and through email
- Assisting the shipping department with any required customs documentation
Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year experience working in customer service in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent communication skills is required in this role
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to ask questions and find answers/solutions
- Ability to work well under pressure and continue providing a high level of customer service.
