Responsibilities
Job duties as a Customer Service & Office Administrator
> Receive and enter all customer orders correctly and on-time for the Commercial,
Consumer and DTC (Ecom) sales channels
> Properly allocate inventory to orders and determine ETA for backorders based on available information
> Respond to all customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
> Process all invoices with shipment tracking information
> Print and deliver pick tickets to the warehouse
> Process customer returns and warranty claims
> Manage all in-bound communications, redirecting or responding to them accordingly
> Ensure the office has all necessary office and kitchen supplies and place orders with suppliers accordingly
> Ensure that the offices’ systems and equipment are functioning correctly and contact service providers for updates and repairs as needed
> Interact with functional counterparts in the USA to resolve issues impacting the office’s operations
> Provide administrative support to the Director of Service and Operations
Qualifications
What we are looking for in a Customer Service & Office Administrator
> Minimum of 3+ years of experience with EDI order entry
> Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a customer service / sales driven environment providing products to retailers and industrial distributors
> High School diploma required / College diploma or certificate preferred
> A people person, with a friendly, positive, and can-do attitude
> Excellent English language verbal and written communication skills
> Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
> High level of work commitment and attention to detail
> Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
> Excellent organization and prioritization skills, as well as time management skills
> Knowledge and experience using a wide variety of computer applications including MS Excel, MS Word, and e-mail
> Basic French communication skills are an asset
> Physical ability to safely lift 50lbs
