As the Customer Excellence Manager within our organization, you will play a crucial role in shaping business unit strategies, supporting planning and investment processes, and spearheading initiatives for upcoming product launches. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze, pinpoint, and communicate areas of potential growth or resource optimization with a strategic focus spanning short to long term. Your role also involves capturing customer insights and offering recommendations for business strategy, tactics, and resource allocation in collaboration with Brand teams, Sales Planning, and Omnichannel marketing teams. Additionally, you will oversee the implementation of strategies and tactics by swiftly and accurately providing key data through a KPI dashboard.Key Responsibilities:・Evaluate the current business landscape by integrating all available data sources (in-house/primary/secondary), extract customer insights, and propose recommendations for business strategy and tactics.・Conduct competitor analysis to identify potential threats, suggest counter actions, and deliver ad-hoc analysis reports for brand teams to formulate strategic plans such as Brand Plan/POA (Plan of Action).・Strengthen internal analytical capabilities by acquiring information, procuring data, and considering/implementing software/system/process enhancements.・Contribute input, feedback, and support to projects, initiatives, and activities initiated by business units, facilitating change management for swift adaptation to evolving business scenarios.・Oversee cross-functional or strategic projects as required by the business, ensuring accountability from agencies and other suppliers for timely delivery. Allocate resources to cross-functional projects, initiatives, and activities as needed.
求められる経験
Qualifications
・Minimum bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Life Sciences, or other relevant field. (Master’s degree in business is preferred with training in different disciplines related to sales & marketing.)
・Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in the related industry (pharmaceutical/healthcare, consumer goods or other regulated industries) is required with a successful track record of: Market insights generation (e.g., through market research) and business analysis, sales and product demand forecasting, working knowledge of contracts, contract negotiations, and vendor management.
・Strong analytical skills, technical IT tool utilisation and market research understanding.
・Demonstrate ability to constructively challenge assumptions and directly influence others in a respectful manner.
・Assertive with excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to tailor content, delivery, and design for specific audiences in fluent Japanese and English.
