We are looking for Fitter Welders with custom metal fabrication experience (stainless steel)
Location: Puslinch (Guelph)
Role: FITTER/welder
Shift: Days - Monday to Friday 7am to 3:30pm
Rate: $28-32/hour depending on experience
*Please note that this is a FITTER role where you must have at least 5 years working at a custom shop where you had worked as a fitter with previous welding experience* (MIG)

Responsibilities
- Heavy custom metal fabrication - 5-10 years experience
- Able to read blue prints
- Heavy lifting
- Fitter welder experience
- Lay out, fit and weld large fabrications including tanks, frames, drums, structural steel beams etc.
- Weld components using Flux Core Arc Welding and other methods
- Cut work pieces (using saws and torches), operate oxy-acetylene plate bevellers and
- Metal grinding as required
- Participate in a variety of heavy assembly and test work
- Perform dimensional inspections using various measuring devices including verniers, Measuring tapes, micrometers etc.
- Material handling
Qualifications
- At least 5 years working as a fitter in a custom shop
- Prior welding experience
- Strong work ethic and a team player
- Material Handling
