Position Overview:
As a Customer Service Representative in our Logistics department, you will be the main point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service and support. You will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating LTL shipments, ensuring smooth operations and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Please note that this is an evening shift and will require reliable transportation to and from the terminal in the Foothills Industrial area
Shift is 3:30pm to Midnight

Responsibilities
Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
Coordinate and manage LTL shipments, including booking, tracking, and delivery confirmation.
Resolve customer issues and concerns regarding shipments, providing timely and effective solutions.
Communicate with carriers to ensure timely pickup and delivery of goods.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions, including shipment details and resolution of issues.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless flow of information and efficient handling of customer requests.
Monitor and manage shipment schedules, proactively addressing any potential delays or disruptions.
Assist in the preparation of shipping documents, including bills of lading and customs paperwork.
Provide clients with regular updates on shipment status and any potential changes to delivery schedules.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.
Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry.
Knowledge of LTL shipping and logistics processes is highly desirable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in using customer service software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
