The Credit Risk Project Lead will be responsible for end-to-end implementation of credit risk initiatives that align to credit management and sales objectives. One main objective is to support the implementation of a new credit decisioning engine (Equifax DecisionPoint 3 / DP3) and develop / adjust internal credit scorecards.

Responsibilities:
- Create and optimise processes relating to the analysis of credit risk for new and existing retail customers, in conjunction with other analysts and managers.
- Build and refine credit scorecards, including the mechanism to track outcomes of credit scorecard configuration.
- Adjust and review of business rules, tolerances, thresholds and process controls.
- Provide support for the decisions to change settings and communicate potential impact to bad debt and sales.
- Own the credit risk platform, reporting processes and any changes.
- Collaborate extensively with Compliance, Legal, Product and IT teams through design and build – test phase.
- Understand the customer impacts of work completed within the team and ensure that a customer focused approach is taken.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of credit risk modelling and analytics experience in consumer financing markets.
- Understanding of the end-to-end credit management processes including the delivery to customers.
- SME knowledge of Equifax DecisionPoint 3 (DP3).
- Advanced quantitative risk & analyitcs skills. Intermediate SQL/R.
- Proven project management and stakeholder management.
