The following duties will be assigned:

• Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
• Deliver pre-prepared lessons, following the teacher's instructions and maintaining continuity of learning.
• Provide guidance and support to students, helping them stay focused and engaged with their work.
• Maintain good order and discipline among students, adhering to the school's behaviour policies.
• Assist with administrative tasks and other duties as required by the school.

The prerequisites to be approved as a Cover Supervisor are listed below:

• Provide 2 proven professional references
• An enhanced child DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
• Right to work in the UK
• Previous experience working with young people, ideally in an educational setting.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with students.
• Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to manage different classroom environments.
• Enthusiastic, patient, and able to inspire and motivate students.
• Collaborative and able to work well within a team of educators.
