about the job
Reporting to the Sales VP & CEO .
Key responsibilities:
- Launch B2B sales efforts in Malaysia, starting with Kuala Lumpur, and progressively expanding across the nation.
- Design and implement a thorough strategy to grow the agent network and meet revenue objectives.
- Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with travel agents.
- Identify and target new regions to further expand the agent base.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the sales team to reach their goals.
- Assess sales performance to pinpoint areas for improvement and take corrective action.
- Increase market penetration and boost brand visibility throughout the country.
- Build strategic alliances with industry stakeholders to strengthen the company’s market position.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences to promote its services.
- Track competitor activity and market trends to stay competitive.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
skills and experience required
- A Master’s in Business Administration (MBA), preferably with a focus on Sales and Marketing.
- Over 8 years of experience in the Travel, FMCG, or Banking sectors.
- Strong ability to analyze data and market trends.
- Proficient in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
- Experience selling outbound travel destinations.
- In-depth knowledge of destinations, agents, and hotels within the region.
- Willing to travel frequently across the country.
