Responsibilities
- Oversee the plant's financial operations and ensure the accuracy of accounting data.
- Actively participate in strategic planning and budgeting, while analyzing variances and proposing innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with operational teams to identify and implement continuous improvement projects, driving efficiency and profitability.
- Manage performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure optimal management of resources and costs.
- Provide strategic support to management in financial and operational decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies and legal obligations.
Qualifications
- CPA designation an asset
- At least 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role
- Experience in the manufacturing sector is a strong asset
- Strong technical understanding of accounting and financial reporting
- Bilingualism (oral and written)
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced industry.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
