Title: Contracts Manager
Location: Surrey
Salary: £80,000 - £87,000 + Car allowance + Pension
Our client, a well-established, medium-sized contractor based in Hampshire, is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join their expanding team. This regional business has a rich history of successfully delivering a wide range of schemes across Hampshire and Surrey.
Company Overview:
Our client specialises in the commercial, education, and healthcare sectors, managing new build and refurbishment projects valued between £1 million to £10 million across Hampshire, West Sussex, and parts of Surrey. With a strong presence and multiple offices in the region, they provide an excellent platform for a Contracts Manager to oversee high-value projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
... - Oversee 2-4 projects within the commercial, education, and healthcare sectors.
- Review and analyse contract terms and conditions.
- Negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders.
- Monitor project timelines and deliverables to ensure contract compliance.
- Address and resolve any contract disputes that may arise.
- Ensure all contract documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure successful project delivery.
- Manage contract budgets and ensure projects are delivered within budget constraints.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Contracts Manager, particularly in commercial, education, or healthcare projects.
- Strong understanding of contract law and regulations.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and contract management software.
