Our client is seeking to expand its senior management team due to an increase in workload and the acquisition of new projects. They are looking for either an experienced Contracts Manager or a seasoned Project Manager who is ready to take the next step in their career.
About the Company:
Our client is a well-established regional main contractor operating throughout Oxfordshire. They handle projects valued between £1 million and £15 million, across sectors such as commercial, education, leisure, industrial, and healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing all aspects of project contracts, including planning, budgeting, and resource management.
- Ensuring smooth communication and collaboration among clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Leading the preparation of tender documents, contracts, and procurement processes.
- Monitoring project progress and addressing issues or risks promptly.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and maintaining quality standards.
- Providing leadership to project teams, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Managing client relationships to ensure satisfaction and promote repeat business.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the construction industry, with a record of successful project delivery.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement, and industry regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise effectively.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites within the region.
