Randstad Tasmania is seeking experienced Civil & Construction Specialists to join a respected client on multiple remediation and civil construction projects across Northern Tasmania. This is a permanent contract role offering great long-term career prospects.

If you're self-motivated, able to multitask, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, this could be the perfect role for you.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing High Pressure Water Jetting Operations and Hydro Demolition, including managing relevant SWMS (Safe Work Method Statements) and permits, and ensuring appropriate controls are in place.
- General manual labouring and construction tasks.
- Operating hand and power tools.
- Assisting tradespeople with day-to-day tasks.
Key Requirements:
To be considered for the role, the following qualifications and experience are essential:
- Experience in Hydro Blasting, including:
- MSMSS00017 – Use High Pressure Water Jetting Equipment
- MSMSS00018 – Operate a High-Pressure Water Jetting System
- Experience in Civil Construction
- White Card (Construction Induction)
- Current Driver’s License and reliable transport
- Physically fit and capable of working in a variety of environments
- Strong work ethic and motivated to work as part of a team
- Full working rights in Australia
Desirable Skills:
- Dogging or Rigging certification
- Working at Heights ticket
- Elevated Work Platform (EWP) certification
- MR Licence
