• Ensure construction works complies with company HSEQ standards and contract specifications
• Implement critical incident management as per the Emergency Response Management Plan as required
• Develop, review and manage construction planning and monitor progress of allocated projects to ensure they are on schedule
• Authorise and oversee construction planning, programming, cost, time, quality, purchasing, contract administration and the activities of subcontractors
• Liaise with the Project Manager over completion dates for different phases of construction
• attend site, monitor and liaise with PM's on construction progress, construction programmes and forecasts as required in line with physical financial targets and taking corrective action where required
• Review contractual claims and where required, formulate and prepare major contractual claims

• Technical background e.g. trade qualification or engineering degree
• A minimum of 10 years’ management experience within the construction industry
• Experience working with different clients and stakeholders
• Construction General Safety Induction card
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and standards, especially with respect to safety
