We are seeking skilled and experienced concrete repairs operatives to join our team for a major infrastructure project on a large bridge in the Queensferry area. This is a contract role with an immediate start, offering an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile project that requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform concrete repairs, including surface preparation, crack injection, and structural strengthening.
- Use various techniques and tools to repair and restore concrete surfaces to the required specifications.
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations and project guidelines.
- Work closely with the site manager and other team members to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in concrete repairs, preferably on large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of concrete repair techniques, materials, and tools.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Valid CSCS card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) is essential.
- NVQ in concrete repairs is preferred.
- A keen eye for detail and a high standard of workmanship.
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues.
