Role Overview :
We are seeking an enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher to work at a well regarded Secondary School based in St Ives. As a Computer Science Teacher, you will teach Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, delivering engaging lessons focused on coding, digital literacy, and computational thinking. You will work in a supportive department, collaborating with colleagues to continually improve teaching methods and foster student success in this rapidly evolving field.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality Computer Science lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and 4
- Designing and implementing engaging and innovative curriculum content
- Assessing and tracking student progress, providing constructive feedback to ensure their success
- Encouraging students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills through hands-on learning
- Promoting a passion for technology and digital skills, both in and outside the classroom
- Collaborating with colleagues to share resources and best practices.
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Have a strong academic background in Computer Science, with a degree in the subject or a related field
- Be passionate about inspiring students and sharing the excitement of the digital world
- Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Be committed to continuous professional development
- Have the ability to adapt lessons to cater to a wide range of abilities

- A competitive daily pay rate of £150 - £240 per day, depending on experience.
