Exciting Opportunity: Compliance Manager – Join a Fintech InnovatorAre you passionate about compliance and ready to drive innovation in a fintech and property management company specializing in alternative investments? A fintech company is seeking a proactive Compliance Manager to lead legal and regulatory efforts for their office in Tokyo, Japan. About the RoleAs the Compliance Manager, you will handle a range of responsibilities, including the following: •Work closely with other departments to align operations with legal and compliance standards.•Reviewing new projects and initiatives from a legal and compliance perspective to ensure regulatory adherence. This will involve reviewing contracts for new projects. •Dealing with regulatory authorities in respect to existing operations and new licenses. •Managing board meetings, general shareholders meetings, and internal audits. •Establishing internal regulations and systems (including obtaining new financial licenses etc). •Monitoring and respond to the latest laws and regulations, including the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act, and the Act on the Protection of Personal Information. This will include planning and running compliance training. Required Experience•Compliance expertise in the financial instruments trading industry.•Experience in communicating and negotiating with supervisory authorities.Preferred Experience (those who do not have such experience are also welcome to apply):•Compliance experience in the real estate industry.•Experience applying for and securing business licenses.•Holds one or more of the following certifications: 貸金業取扱主任者、宅地建物取引士、不動産証券化マスター、不動産コンサルティングマスター.
