Reporting to the Director, the Commercial Sales Executive / Manager based in Singapore will support the implementation of the Travel Retail Go-To-Market strategy by managing day-to-day operational commercial responsibilities.
This role also supports the Sales Director for the Sell-in/Sell-out of customers in SEA.
- Coordinate daily with clients and Customer Service to ensure a smooth invoicing/ documentation process for SEA customers.
- Manage the Purchase Orders process review assortments and minimum order value, work closely with Demand Planners to source for products from other regions or propose alternative products/gifts in case of out-of-stock, resolve price discrepancy issues, attach testers, gifts, point of sale material etc. according to launch and promotional plans.
- Prepare the Sell-in proposal Orders/Assortment. Work closely with Sales Director/ Area Managers and Finance for the Weekly sales and portfolio report. Track performance against budget estimation and follow-up closely on portfolio conversion to invoicing to meet monthly Sell-in targets sell in sell out according to Retail Plan.
- Prepare analysis for your territory during Sales & Marketing Meetings, or business reviews, etc.
- Follow-up directly with all customers and ensure that Sell-out reports are received by mid-month
- Manages all updates on pricing system e.g. margins, condition etc, and generates prices for all customers & generating price list.
- Ensuring that all prices in the system are updated properly in the systems so that Customer Service can work on the orders seamlessly.
- Solve all operational and administrative request or enquires from clients: working with marketing for any media needs / requests (high resolution visuals, pack shots, product information, write-ups), fill-in new listing forms for all Accounts, updating clients on delisted / out-of-stocks situations, send samples and ingredients lists etc.
Skills & Knowledge Required:
- 3-5 years of Sales support & commercial experience in a similar role in a multinational FMCG or Luxury company within the travel retail channel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office – PowerPoint, Excel and Word, SAP system.
- Detail oriented and well organized.
- Ability to build relationships and interpersonal sensitivity.
- Problem solving skills.
