Commercial Account Manager – Diagnostics (NSW/QLD/NT & VIC/TAZ)
Our client is a world leader in rapid point of care (POC) and infectious disease testing. Their purpose is to make the world a better place by bringing life changing technologies to the people who need them.
Due to market growth and expansion, they are currently seeking two Commercial Account Managers in NSW/QLD or VIC to drive growth of their rapid diagnostic POC device in the cardio-metabolic space.
About the Role
As the Commercial Account Manager you will drive strategic business development and maintain strong customer relationships across your territory. This role combines technical expertise, strategic planning, and hands-on support to ensure that our cardiometabolic solutions exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Strategy: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within your territory. Develop and implement strategies tailored to each client’s needs, aiming to exceed revenue and growth targets.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and sustain profitable, long-term relationships with senior management and key stakeholders across hospitals, clinics, and health institutions.
- Product Support & Training: Deliver seamless product onboarding, training, and follow-up for cardiometabolic products, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and usability.
- Representation & Networking: Represent our brand at key industry events, trade shows, and professional society meetings to expand our reach and impact within the cardiometabolic space.
- Reporting & Analysis: Regularly track and report on sales performance and customer feedback, using data to refine strategies and meet territory goals.
What We’re Looking For
- Educational Background: Degree in Medical Science or a related field is highly desirable.
- Sales Expertise: 5+ in a commercial healthcare sales role, with a proven track record in business development and high-level sales performance.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Demonstrated ability to develop and nurture relationships with senior decision-makers, backed by experience with clinical/medical environments.
- Strategic Mindset: Skilled in analysing sales data, developing territory plans, and prioritizing resources to maximise impact.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in CRM systems (SalesForce experience preferred) and MS Office, with strong organizational and planning skills.

Qualifications
- Current driver’s license and passport are required.
- Postgraduate qualifications in business and experience with in vitro diagnostic medical devices are advantageous.
